Earlier in the year, Realme launched the Realme XT in India and back then, it promised that there will be a more powerful version of the Realme XT coming soon. Realme has now gone vocal about it, announcing that it is bringing the Realme XT 730G to the Indian market on December 17. However, instead of calling it the Realme XT 730G, Realme will simply call it the Realme X2 and it will tag along with a special edition variant of the same. Guess what the special edition will be called? Hint: Star Wars fans will be happy.
In China, the Realme Xt Star war edition is launched but in India, it named Realme XT 730G. The Realme X2 and Realme X2 Star Wars Edition are expected to sit above the Realme XT, possibly starting at prices close to Rs 20,000. With the Realme X2, Realme could be able to fill up the gap between the Realme XT and the recently launched Realme X2 Pro flagship phone.
However, that’s not the only Realme device coming on December 17. Realme will also reveal the Realme Buds Air wireless earbuds at the event and they will offer truly a wireless listening experience to the user. The Buds Air look like Apple AirPods but will be priced extremely low. For more information about these buds click here.
The chipset used in this device will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with GPU Adreno 618. It will run on Android 9 based COLOR OS 6. The expected variants (RAM & ROM) are – (6GB+64GB), (6GB+128GB), (8GB+128GB), (8GB+256GB).
Realme X2 will have a rear quad-camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) and a 32MP front camera. It will have a non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery with support of 30-watt fast charging.
Talking about design X2 will have a glass back with an In-display fingerprint scanner. The color variants will be – Pearl White, Pearl Blue, Avocado Green. Realme has kept the tear-drop notch for the front camera but the bezels are quite thin. It measures 158.7 mm x 75.2 mm x 8.6 mm and weighs 182 grams.
